[I've marked the last two posts as private, because I really don't think they are necessary any more! Ha ha]
So, I’m looking for a job! One that I enjoy, and have fun at! I mean, isn’t that what life should be about? I didn’t do Katimavik, so that I could come home and do the same-old stuff! I did it to try new things, and I will continue to try new things until I find a nice fit. I’ve worked with the blind, with kids, with the environment, I’m sure someone will see these as valuable skills! I know that I see them as valuable skills, for sure!
In the meantime, I will be travelling around the city, sticking my nose around and trying to find something to occupy my time. If you live in the Calgary area, and see me wandering, please come say Hi, and maybe pretend like we were scheduled to meet there, or something, so I don’t feel so foolish standing on random street corners.
You have a great, strong personality, and with all that amazing experience - it makes me wonder how someone could NOT hire you. And then it freaks me out about my job prospects.
Anyway, have fun wandering the streets!
I hope you don’t wander for too long, it is getting cold…
Lol, well good luck on job searching. I think that those skills are definitely valuable and employers would want that kind of experience. Hey, the city is hiring! They want 600 workers! You can have such an array of jobs with the City of Calgary and you get paid REALLY well! You should look into it!!
