So, this is kind of one of those boring day-by-day summaries of my life, but really because that is what I am used to with this blog! When I started it, the visitors were, oh, me, and a few friends. I’ll try not to make it too boring though!

I. Am. A. Construction Worker.

I know, it’s surprising for anyone who knows me at all. I am such a girly girl, and quite the weakling, and yet, here I am working in construction. I believe I am technically a “fabricator,” but the point is, I wear steel-toed boots and protective glasses, and use machinery to punch or drill holes into stuff. Or I use knives, cardboard and packing tape to wrap aluminum frames. At the end of the day, I am covered in dirt and oil, and I must smell badly, although I do not compare to the stench that is Matt (my brother, who also works there, but on the outside crew. My dad works there too, but he’s like a management office person.) . Yesterday I was pretty sore afterwards. My legs and arms ached, and it took a while to sleep, but it wasn’t as bad as some of the arm cramps I’ve had in the past. Today I hurt my left knee from being on them, wrapping things. So, yeah, I’m a wimp. But, it is good exercise! I shall be thin and stealthy yet, and the boys (and girls, for that matter) shall not be able to resist me! Ha!Ha!

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of the day I started Katimavik. Joelle called me at dinner to tell me “Happy Anniversary!” which was pretty sweet, and reminds me that I have to go call Anny now, because she might be coming to Calgary this weekend (if her stupid car isn’t broken, grrrrr)!
