Today, I set out with the full intention of starting to gather materials for my portfolio for school. I need to apply straight away, in order to get into the program I want, which is high demand. I think I would have a pretty good shot, provided that I could get down to work and assemble the blasted portfolio!
Instead I,
1) Worked on a new layout for this blog. (Which in all fairness, I could use as part of my portfolio.)
2) Baked bread.
3) Chatted on MSN to Rachael.
4) Played on Snark.
5) Watched Miss Congeniality.
One would think that looking at that list of pointless activities (besides the talking to Rachaely, of course, ha ha) would maybe motivate me to do something constructive with my time. Especially since I am craving school so badly.
But, no.
I’m off to watch Miss Congeniality 2. Then, I think I will go for a run on the treadmill. Maybe dance around a bit to my iPod. And then read a magazine before bed.
I am such a dedicated student. </ eye rolling>
I procrastinate alot! Today I was supposed to study for my huge science exam coming up, but I haven’t a bit…and then I complain when I get a C on the test :P.
Hi =)
Sounds like one of my days except a) I wouldn’t make a new layout and b) no yummie baked bread. Lol, so in other words, you accomplished a lot today.
I always feel that when times are stressful is when I get my laziest…or maybe its lazier?
One day where you don’t get on with your work is alright, it’s a break isn’t it. Hopefully you will get it done eventually though.
Oh I always put things off. :/
Thanks for all the great book selections!
I can’t wait to read some of those.

Distractions are always better than what you’re supposed to be doing. I’m being distracted from homework right now :P
The two rules of procrastination: 1) Do it today. 2) Tomorrow will be today tomorrow.
I love Miss Congeniality 2! It’s one of my fav. movies.
How is Miss Congeniality 2? I haven’t watched it, but I’ve watched the first one.
I want to watch Miss Congeniality 2! Send the DVD to NZ!
I prefer Miss Congeniality to Miss Congeniality 2 though. I think the first one was more interesting and there’s more suspense involved! =) Happy watching.
Maybe you need to be more busy… I remember the before I started working I had loads of free time. Most of it was spent watching anime and reading blogs. About 1% of it, was spent thinking up useful stuff to study (like PHP and Perl).
Needless to say, I still haven’t learned all that useful stuff. The downside now, is that I don’t have the time to do it anymore… though maybe if I spent less time luring on Snark/Youtube…
Miss Congeniality Two? Niiiice.
I like this layout a lot, I’m a procrastinator myself also.
I always wait until the last minute to assemble everything.
... couple weeks ago, I blogged about procrastinating my portfolio, and if I’m perfectly honest, I will admit that is the last time I ever thought of the ...
