This show is about John and Kate and their 8 children. First, they couldn’t have kids, so they tried in vitro fertilization, and ended up with twins! THEN they tried again, wanting one more. Obviously, they got 6! Now, they live this chaotic life, which for some reason, captivates me. The kids are so cute!! And John and Kate are so funny! And real. And WOW.
AHHH, I love it.
So, you’re probably all sitting there, like, “WTF?! WHY DOES AISLING LOVE THIS SHOW?! SHE’S CRAZY!!!” To which I have to agree. I can’t quite pinpoint the appeal. But it is just APPEALING. ALRIGHT?!

I watch this show too! Aaden’s my favorite - he’s soooo adorable.
I have to come clean: Rock of Love 2. Bunch of trashy girls trying to win a rockstar’s heart. I don’t identify with any of that, but I can’t help but tune every week and be entertained. It does help that Bret Michael’s is completely delicious-looking, though.
Had to comment on this one. I positively ADORE this show, too! I don’t watch much reality TV at all but I agree, they are just so REAL!!
The way they raise their kids and still remain normal and sane is just amazing. And they eat organic food! I think that was one of the most inspirational things I’ve learned from that show.
When Kate said something to the effect of “we could easily be cheap with so many people to take care of but we choose not too; we feel like we’re giving our kids a gift for their futures”…made lots of sense to me. If THEY can afford to eat better…then so should I!!
