You probably know the basics: Canadian girl, loves theatre, history, is nerd, know-it-all, etc. Here are some other things that maybe you didn’t know about me. But now you will! (Provided you actually read this page.)
- I wear size 6.5 in shoes, in Canada/US sizes. In the UK that makes me a 4, and in European sizes I am a 37!
- I wear glasses, and I am nearsighted. The technical term for that is youth-onset simple low myopia, I believe, which is something I learned while volunteering with the CNIB. While there, I also learned about another icky eye ailment I had at a young age, called strabismus. Luckily, I had surgery which corrected it, before I became legally blind! So, now, here I am with incredibly healthy eyes, apart from my glasses I have to wear. But lots of people wear glasses, so, meh. :-P
- My favourite colour is hot pink. Especially when paired with black. I love bright and dark colours together.
- I am not athletic at all! In fact, in grade 9, my PE teacher tried to teach me how to run, during relays. It didn’t really work too well. I do enjoy street/floor/scooter hockey, but I can’t skate, so ice hockey is out of the question. And I swim.
- I have two middle names. They are “Shea,” (said like “Shaye”) and “Katheleen” (”Kath-e-leen.”).
- I always figured I would have kids one day. Recently, though, I’ve been wondering if I REALLY want to, or if I just fee that I should, because that’s what women are designed to do. Hmm…
- I had my belly button pierced when I was 14, but it ripped out when I was 16.
- On the stand next to my bed, I keep my Dollarama alarm clock. Which is the most amazing alarm clock I’ve ever come across.
- I scare easily– but I secretly love being afraid.
