… well, essentially. I still have to work on Thursday (I’m writing this Wednesday evening, from my bed. Ooer. I bet you want to know what I’m wearing. Well, for your information, I am wearing pyjamas. Which are typical sleepwear.), from 8am until 1pm. We’re scheduled to leave here around 2pm, which won’t give me much time to blog, and potentially no time to even touch the computer at all! And I will be without one until June 30th!
But, it will be fun. I love family events! Living in a 19ft space with my parents will be tough, but I shall persevere. I shall also hope that somewhere will have nice cell phone reception, so I can check Twitter, and send tweets over.
I’m sure you’ll all me miss me. Loads. I’m sure Rachaely will miss me a whole bunch, because she promised me she would, so she’d better not forget!!! … I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read my blog, so everyone click that link to her so it will show up in her stats and she will maybe pop on over for a visit.
Also, I would like to take this time to congratulate the gorgey Melissa and her fiancé (!) Chaz on their engagement! I am super stoked for them! Melly is such a sweetie! So, obviously Chaz is quite the lucky guy. Ha ha. All the best, you two!
AND Happy 22nd to my darling Anny!! She doesn’t read this either, and she doesn’t have a link to track stats, but it’s the thought that counts, right?
And… that’s it! I’m looking forward to time away from work and the city and such. I’m not looking forward to what I’m sure will be a crowded inbox (probably spam-filled) and 37 unread forum pages.
Have a great weekend everyone!

It’s no secret that I love food. This is perhaps demonstrated by the constant stuffing of my face, or the fact that I post some of my favourite recipes on this very site. I’m not a picky eater, and I am quite willing to try most things once. I hope to never try prairie oysters, nor any other food related to the reproductive or excretory systems. But, I am open-minded about most things.
I am most open to Italian cusine. It is one of my biggest regrets in life– not being born into an Italian family. I love it all! Pasta is my love, the cheesier the better! Pizza! Gelato! Canneloni! Canoli! It’s all just so amazing!
I suppose I’m lucky to live in a place like Canada, which is so multicultural that I can have pasta, pizza and my other cheesy loves as often as I want (like, as soon as my father returns home with a pizza at my request.). Can you imagine where I would be if I lived in the Soviet Union?! What would I have eaten then?
I would have eaten borscht. Which would have been an issue, since I am allergic to beets.
Are you a picky eater? What’s your favourite food? And is there anything you would ever refuse to try?

Right. Here’s a new one! Well, it’s not exactly “new.” I made it while playing around with a few things two weeks ago. And I decided to put it up today. It’s called “Calm,” because it’s generally… calm. Quite different from my regular noise and chaos, I suppose.
I can’t see any issues with it so far, other than the fact that it screws up in IE 5 and 6. Essentially, the navigation scoots over toward the right in both situations. I don’t know why, and I’m not feeling well, so I’m not up to finding out! So, if any of you can figure out a quick fix, please let me know. Otherwise, I suppose the IE <6ers can tough it out for a bit!
That’s all, really! Not up to much other than not feeling well, and preparing for this weekend’s camping trip. In case I forget to mention, I’m leaving town on Thursday evening and will not be back until some time on the 1st of July (Canada Day!). So, I wouldn’t expect any blogging during those days, and maybe not any before then (but, who knows, really? I’m a bit of a bloggy/chatty person. I could use a ramble sometime on Wednesday.).
