I change my site’s look quite often. Possibly because I am addicted to Photoshop. I’m sure you’d be surprised to find out that even though I change my layout more often than I change my bedsheets, I design even more themes that don’t even make it to the coding bit!

These are a few of my designs that I enjoyed, in best chronological order to my ability. If you would like to view a preview of each layout, you may by clicking the thumbnail image. However, this is only a preview, any links clicked will take you back to the current default layout.

Sunset- This was a very dark layout that premiered around last fall. I really loved the photo taken of me while camping over the summer, and decided to incorporate it into a simple layout. The navigation uses an image mapping technique, which looked cool, but wasn’t too great as far as accessibility goes.

Goddess Of A Moment

Goddess of a Moment-This was a theme made around the winter holidays, thus the green and red, and features snapshots of my friends and I from the year before. It was a simple theme, that stayed up for quite a while.

Tangy

Tangy- This was a quick layout, simple, with a splash of colour to replace the past layout after the holidays were over. I was also going through a Juno phase, hence the block lettering.

Horizons

Horizons- This was a theme that I really loved. It featured an illustration of a photo I’d taken of one of my friends the year before, plus mountain photos from my trip to Kananaskis over Christmas. Combined with lots of white contrasting with my much-loved dark grey, and splashes of hot pink, it’s not surprising that I adored this one!

Antiquesque

Antiquesque- Another favourite of mine. I adore vintage design, so I thought I would try it myself. This layout features an old photo of me, a few different textures, and a generally monochromatic pallet with splashes of colour.

Monstre

Monstre- By far my most popular layout with the visitors! Everyone loved Monsieur Monstre, the little monster I doodled one day, and then turned into a layout, along with his monster pals in the footer. Never have I heard more sobs from young adults as when I took the poor fella down.

Spice

Spice- This one is called Spice, after my dog. It features a small illustration of her. It was a quick layout. So quick. My brother has been away from home, and he missed Spice a lot, so he particularly enjoyed it.

PinkAvril

PinkAvril- This layout was super pink and reminded me of Avril Lavigne, somehow. The original version had scribbled stars at the bottom, but that was soon changed to a lovely fixed background more focused on the pink and grey.

Basic

Basic- This is the most boring layout in the history of the world. Truthfully, I just wanted to see if I could make something without images. And I can! I just can’t keep it around for long because I’ll lose my mind!

All Star

All Star- This one was made up of different pieces from different layouts brought together as one. It was just kind of fun and crazy. And lots of light on dark, which I love.

White Elephant

White Elephant- This layout was inspired by my plaid capris. It was just a nice, calm layout, with an especially large focus on the footer. The footer features a doodle of myself, and several cute icons. The yellow was a nice way to kick off summer.

Calm

Calm- This layout came about from playing with colours in Photoshop. I really liked the pale green, and I’d wanted to do something fluid and big, and with playing around I came up with this. It’s just relaxing which is what you need at the beginning of summer.
